Chief Duncan is the second in command at the Rusk County Sheriffs Office. Chief Duncan began his career in law enforcement in 1990.  Working in many capacities in law enforcement, Chief Duncan holds an Advanced Peace Officers License.  Chief Duncan has experience in Patrol, Mental Health, and Criminal Investigations. In 1996, Chief Duncan was awarded Outstanding Sheriffs Deputy by Rusk County Sheriffs Office and in 2002 he was awarded Public Servant of the Month by Kilgore Police Department.  Chief Duncan works side by side with the divisions of Patrol and Criminal Investigation so that he can help insure that the community is served to the best of the departments abilities.
