Criminal Investigations Division
The Criminal Investigation Division within the Rusk County Sheriff's Office follows up on all criminal cases filed within Rusk County's jurisdiction. The Criminal Investigation Division is made up of a team of Certified Texas Peace Officers with a combined total of 122 years of law enforcement and 59 years of criminal investigation experience. Investigators within this division are experienced in processing minor and major crime scenes and collection and handling of evidence. The Rusk County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division is dedicated to solving crimes that occur within Rusk County and also in assisting other agencies as needed.
