The Rusk County Jail division is made up of a group of Certified Jailers. The duties of the Jail division are to ensure the safe detention of county inmates. The Jail Division sees to the daily needs of those incarcerated at the Rusk County Jail. Though most of the Jail Division is comprised of Certified Jailers, there are also Certified Peace Officers-Sworn Deputies, and an on site Nurse to meet the detention needs and health and safety needs of those detained.
