The Rusk County Sheriffs Office Patrol Division is a team of dedicated deputies, whose greatest urgency is to ensure the safety of the citizens within Rusk County.  Patrol Division is made up of a team of Certified Texas Peace Officers with various levels of training and experience in law enforcement. As first responders to all calls, the Patrol Division is designed to effectively secure all crimes scenes, and protect the lives and property of the citizens of Rusk County.  Patrol deputies hold various roles within the department including, traffic enforcement, warrant service, enforcement of state and federal laws as needed, and lawfully assisting the citizens within Rusk County with their law enforcement needs.
